Wheel Throwing Course for Beginners

This course is specially designed for working professionals. Come, get your hands, dirty and unleash your creativity with clay. Learning to create on potters wheel will help you unwind, relax, recenter yourself and have fun - all at the same time. This course will cover :

• Understanding different types of clays
• Introduction to potter's wheel
• Safety and health around the use of the wheel
• Introduction to wedging the clay
• Learning to center the clay, pull up and make basic cylindrical shapes likes mugs, yunomi and tea cups.
• Basic introduction to glazing techniques.

Terms and conditions :

• All participants to be 18 years and above.
• Please bring your own aprons to the class, in order to minimize sharing across students.
• Firing and material charges apply @ sgd 3/100 gm of finished product.

Class Duration : 2.5 hours

Total no. of classes in one package : 5

Class size : Maximum 3 Students, for better attention.

During 5 classes, each student can expect to make 3-4 pieces.
