Songs of the Earth II

If the earth and sky could talk, how would they tell us their stories ? Of what they feel and see in the waters and the winds ? Much of nature responds to the forces of water and wind to shape and move them. The textures in the clay are the language of nature that the artist wants to convey to the user. Do you hear their songs and the stories they want to tell us ?

This reduction-fired amoeba Ikebana pot is a creation using coiled local red clay; the blue celadon and white shino glaze adds the feel of earthiness to reflect its song.
