Fallen Beauty I

Fallen Beauty is about a vessel that collapses due to the speed of the wheel and hand being out of synchronicity. Although it has ‘fallen’ it still stands and there is beauty and grace in the form. How wonderful if we can fall gracefully and can still be perceived ‘beautiful’ by our beholder.

This reduction-fired Ash glazed pot makes an ideal vessel to host an ikebana arrangement.
