Cabbage Coral - Large Bowl or Vase

The Cabbage Leather Coral, is a hardy soft coral that gets its common name because it grows on short stalks, close to the rock, with large fleshy lobes that are shaped somewhat like the leaves of a plant, like cabbage.  Like the compelling movement of the corals swaying in the waves, this piece depicts its generous fluid forms in ceramics.

Perfect to hold down an impressive floral arrangement and or be tamed by the wildest of flowers. An Ikebana adventure!
