The Final Hour

Some climate scientists profess that we have passed the point of no return for global warming while others believe that it is still possible to slow it down with the reduction of carbon emission. Climate change together with other anthropogenic disturbances are expected to cause the upward movement of invasive species. 

This sculptural artwork portrays the Artist's vision of the final hour and warns of how we are treading on thin ice before it tips over to the point of no return. Is this occurrence something in the future time, or is this already upon us? 

The Final Hour gives a glimpse of how habitat destruction, pollution, the spread of invasive species, overharvest from the wild, climate change, population growth and other human activities have pushed nature to the brink. A graphic depiction of what awaits.
