Flourish IV

As part of Karen's series, Flourish is the name given to these platters with irregular rims. Inspired by the Greek ideology of Eudaimonia, these ceramic vessels hint on the concept of blossoming flowers. “Think of a flower. If you water it, give it light, maybe feed it a little, then it will grow and bloom… Human beings can flourish like plants too”, so observed the great Aristotle. Indeed, to flourish is to be human.

These Flourish platters seek to remind their owners the joy and necessity of growing and flourishing always.

Karen is also open to accepting commission work for pieces like these, as you may prefer.
