Hand Building Course for Beginners

Have you been yearning to get your hands dirty, but work hours during the week are hectic? Then look no further. This weekend hand building course is designed for clay enthusiasts who like to use hands rather than the wheel to form shapes. 

• Over view of the entire process of creating basic shapes including tableware, functional ware, art pieces and sculptural forms
• Focus on learning hand building techniques of pinching, coiling and slab.
• Learning the use of molds to form clay shapes.
• Decorating using carving, stamping, slip, and glazes.

Terms and Conditions :

• Only for 16 years old and above.
• Please bring your aprons.
• Firing and material charges @ sgd 3/100 gm of the final product apply.

Class Duration : 2 hours.

Total Number of classes in one package : 5

Class size : Maximum 6 person.

During 5 classes, each student can expect to make 3-4 pieces.
